Loutra Village in Rethimnon
Just 12Km from the city of Rethimnon, on the road towards the famous Arkadi Monastery, this small village remains almost entirely unaffected by tourism and life still revolves around the tending of crops and livestock as it has done for hundreds of years and is connected to many beautiful places, villages and amazing beaches via the national road!
Loutra villa is an excellent choice for families or couples who want to explore the beauty of the North Crete. It is located in some small hills with a panoramic view to the bay of Rethimnon and the Psiloritis mountain, just only of a few kilometers away from some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete: the sandy beach of "Golden Sand" (2 Km), the sandy beach of Sfakaki (3 Km), the sandy beach of Stavromenos (4 Km) as well as amazing beaches in the south coast of the prefecture: the palm beach of Preveli (45 Km), the beautiful beaches of Plakias (45 Km) (Amoudi, Amoudaki, Damnoni, Skoinaria, Plakias, Souda) etc.
The village has a traditional tavern but the visitors can enjoy many cafe, fish taverns and traditional restaurants in Pagalochori, Loutra, Sfakaki and Stavromenos villages (800m - 4 Km). Tourist shops and super-markets are located in these villages as well as in the city of Rethimnon (12 Km).
