Villa Villa is a traditional and luxurious villa located in the outskirts of the village Vamos, the center of the famous area of Apokoronas, 30 Km away from Chania, Crete. The villa is just 7-10 Km away from some of the most beautiful beaches of northern Crete such as Almyrida, Kalyves and Georgioupolis.

  

Anthina villa is located at the top of a small hill above Vamos, with a panoramic view of Souda bay, the White Mountains and the olive and orange grooves of the Apokoronas area.

The villa, which is fully-equipped, has an amazing private pool, a huge terrace, a beautiful flower's garden as well as a herb garden, is an ideal retreat for quiet and relaxing holidays away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The villa is OPEN FROM APRIL TO NOVEMBER EVERY YEAR and is able to accommodate up to 6 persons.

In a short distance of about 1.6 Km from the villa, our guests can reach the center of the Vamos village, with traditional taverns, restaurants, cafeterias and mini-markets. Even a greater variety of amenities (restaurants, cafe, super markets etc.) are available in Kalyves village, 9 km away from the villa. For bars, clubs and amazing nightlife the capital city of Chania is the ideal place. The villa is also located in a short distance of about 300m from the village Litsarda, a small village with a beautiful square, a small cafe and the famous pizza house.

Activities arround: Our guests can also enjoy many sports in the area of Vamos, like swimming and sea sports in the beaches of Kalyves and Georgioupolis, rafting in Kiliaris River, trekking, mountains walking etc.

The village of Litsarda hosts a 2-day festival in the 15th August. Visitors can mingle with the locals and experience the traditional Cretean cusine, as well as learn about the Cretean culture, tradition and music.

Villa Anthina is undoubtedly impressive. It is built entirely of local stone to resemble the Greek fortified houses of the past era with its moat effect walkway, bridged patio and wide interior and exterior archways. The interior and exterior is designed and built by renowned local architect who has pay special attention to every detail in order to create a unique retreat for our guests. The exquisite carpentry has been designed and hand-carved from solid oak by local craftsmen to suit the needs of Villa Anthina.

   

The villa is situated in a three-floor layout and consists of: 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 of which are fully equipped), 2 comfortable living rooms with dinning area, a kitchen and a second kitchenette.

The main entrance leads into the ground level that is very spacious and you will find the main sitting room and the dining area in open-plan style, the kitchen, the cloakroom, as well as a desk with lamp.

The living room contains 2 comfortable hand-carved couches for 6 persons, an open stone-made fireplace for the winter nights, a traditional table for romantic dinners, as well as electronic devices for entertainment: a 32" flat satellite TV, broadband WIFI INTERNET, DVD/CD/casette players. The kitchen is fully-equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, dish washer, microwave, kettle and all the necessary requirements for cooking a meal of your taste.

An internal wooden staircase leads to the first level of the villa, with the master double-bed bedroom and a second twin bedroom. The master bedroom is certainly in a class of its own! It is decorated with high vaulted ceilings, mezzanine level, romantic lighting and sumptuous four-poster queen-sized bed! This room alone makes villa Anthina an inviting secluded retreat for those romantic couples who are eternal honeymooners. The master bedroom is equipped with TV as well as a spacious en-suite bathroom with jet shower. A double door leads out onto an private terrace balcony with breathtaking 360° view to the Souda bay, the White Mountains and the surrounding countryside. The second twin bedroom is also luxury and confortable, with a spacious en-suite bathroom with jet shower and windows to the south and east, with amazing view to the surrounding olive and orange grooves and the White Mountains.

   

A second wooden staircase starts from the ground level and leads our guests down to the lower level of the villa, with the second living area, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. The living room is very spacious, is decorated with traditional style furniture, and is equipped with two spacious sofas, a chair and TV. Also, a small kitchen corner with a kitchenette is available for our guests for preparing a snack or a coffee.

Just off the living room exists the third bedroom with twin beds, luxurious and confortable, a spacious bathroom with bath and a utility room. The lower level has its own entrance that leads to the olive grooves of the villa.

The villa has many other facilities such as: washing machine, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, first aid box, board games, fine linens and towels etc.

In the exterior of the villa there is a suberb stone constructed flower and herd garden, an amazing sea-salt private pool (40 sqm) with roman steps, extensive patio areas, sunbeds and umbrellas and a small olive groove for quite relaxation and shade. Nearby exists a pergola covered barbecue with outdoor kitchenette, a traditional pizza oven and fridge where our guests can easily use to organize a feast.

   

Our guests can enjoy a 360° breathtaking view from the patio or the terrace balcony of the villa. The view changes as the light of the day adds different perspectives to the undulating landscape of olive groves, the proud backdrop of the White Mountains and the sparkling sea of Souda Bay. The views continue to change during the night with the illumination of the bay by coastal villages and the lights of passing ships.

Villa has its own private off-road parking for one or two cars.
