Villa Afratti is a traditional and luxurious villa located in the village Kokkino Chorio, an amazing village beside the sea, in the famous area of Apokoronas, 24 Km away from Chania, Crete. The villa is only a few kilometers away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Almyrida (2.5 Km) and Kalyves (5.5 Km).

The stone-build villa has been constructed in 2009, at the feet of a small hill beside the sea, with a panoramic view of Souda bay, the White Mountains and the olive grooves of the Apokoronas area.

  

The villa which is very luxurious and fully-equipped, has an amazing private pool, a huge terrace, a beautiful flower's garden and is an ideal retreat for quiet and relaxing holidays away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Villa Afratti is OPEN ALL THE YEAR and is able to accommodate up to 6 persons.

In a short distance of about 2.5 Km from the villa, our guests can reach the center of Almyrida village, a small tourist resort with traditional taverns, restaurants, fish restaurants, cafeterias and mini-markets.

Even a greater variety of amenities (restaurants, cafe, super markets etc.) are available in Kalyves village, 5.5 km away from the villa. For bars, clubs and amazing nightlife the capital city of Chania is the ideal place.

Our guests can also enjoy many sports in the area of Apokoronas, like swimming and sea sports in the beaches of Kalyves and Georgioupolis, rafting in Kiliaris River, trekking, mountains walking etc.

Each August, Kokkino Chorio hosts a traditional festival. Visitors can mingle with the locals and experience the traditional Cretean cusine, as well as learn about the Cretean culture, tradition and music.

Villa Afratti is undoubtedly impressive. It is built entirely of local stone and wood to resemble the Greek houses of the past era in an ravish location that can indisputably claim the preference of each and every demanding visitor.

   

The villa is situated in a two-floor layout and consists of: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 of them are en-suited) and a comfortable living room with dinning area and a kitchen corner.

The main entrance leads into the ground level that is very spacious and you will find the main sitting room and the dining area in open-plan style and the kitchen.

The living room contains 2 comfortable cretan traditional sofas for 6 persons, an open fireplace for the winter nights, a traditional table for dinners, as well as electronic devices for entertainment: Satellite TV and DVD/CD/casette players. The kitchen corner is fully-equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, dish washer, microwave, kettle and all the necessary requirements for cooking a meal of your taste. One of the beautiful twin bedrooms and the main bathroom are also on the ground floor.

An internal wooden staircase leads to the top level of the villa, with the master double-bed bedroom and a second twin bedroom. Each bedroom is luxury and confortable with a a traditional style decoration and is equipped with air-condition as well as a spacious en-suite bathroom with jet shower. Stepping out from each bedroom our visitors can enjoy and amazing terrace balcony with breathtaking view to the Souda bay, the White Mountains and the surrounding countryside.

The villa has many other facilities such as: washing machine, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, fine linens and towels etc.

The exterior of the villa is a suberb stone construction. Stepping out from the villa, our guests can enjoy a beautiful terrace balcony, an amazing private pool (40 sqm) with roman steps, extensive patio areas, sunbeds and umbrellas and an beautiful garden with grass, flowers and olive trees, for quite relaxation and shade. Nearby the pool exists a pergola covered barbecue and where our guests can easily use to organize a feast.

   

Our guests can also enjoy a 360° breathtaking view from the patio or the terrace balcony of the villa. The view changes as the light of the day adds different perspectives to the the sparkling sea of Souda Bay, the proud backdrop of the White Mountains and the undulating landscape of olive groves. The views continue to change during the night with the illumination of the bay by coastal villages and the lights of passing ships.

Afratti Villa has its own car parking outside the villa.
